This movie is full of small fascinating details for fans of space. And it is one of the few realistic sci-fi movies that are not going into full on cyberpunk. And i am sure this is the first movie in this century with first contact being a real problem to solve and not just shorthanded to move the story faster

And of cource, i miss seeing competent people saving the world

P.S. This is somehow third time this week i hear about Tau-Ceti system, it seems like a neat place

I should’ve stayed on a fucking boat!!!

I watched this movie in the cinema and i must say: cinema is truly a magical place. The sheer scale of the screen had given me cinematic experience truly had fucked me and my mate, whom i by my idiocy invited to watch this film for fun then it was put on the listing of our local cinema

Remember my words on Evangelion? So yea this is another piece of art after which i had been sitting in my shower for an hour while thinking: “Why we still here? Just to suffer? WTF is wrong with humanity? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”

And yes, i definitely had enjoyed watching this film and definitely will not stay the same man ever again. Also my fear of getting drafted to the army had enlarged in logarithmic progression :)

Also thanks to my local theatre and Project “Нефть” for re-screening this masterpiece. I wouldn’t had experienced it as much if i watched it at home

Firstly: Schwarz-bucks are funny

Second: Michal Sera rocks it with his borderline psycocotic guerrilla role

Thirdly: Making one reference to the cult-classic known in small circles 1967 tv show The Prisoner starring Patrick McGoohan is a maybe a quincidence, making whole two references to the cult-classic known in small circles 1967 tv show The Prisoner starring Patrick McGoohan shows that a brit had made this movie

Loved how this place feels like and already living world there 500m kaiju is just an inconvenience, a major inconvenience but still nothing out of the ordinary for Metropolians :)
