This small fan made comic about Marvel Universe. It’ main question stands as “Why heroes had chosen New York”. And the answers we get are all different from different people including the heroes themselves, but most of them boil down to “it’s New York, of cource they live in here”

This is a prelude for the second Ultimate Marvel Universe. And it was a very average comic. And it is the same situation as with DC’s Absolute Universe.

But the world this book introduced looks promising

But this one was definetly a better story than Invasion. It shows us how Iron Lad and Doctor Doom get their revolutionary crew together. And now Maker’s cabal reacted on his sudden disappearance. Spoiler they gone with the act of domestic terrorism

Episode 5 was pretty good, but other ones are going by a sine wave

And finale got the lower part of this wave

At least it is shot well and by the end they remembered that Matt is a lawyer

The Punisher 2026

The Punisher: One Last Kill (2026)

They re-shot Reid with Punisher and explored his PTSD more, and i like it :)

Frank Castle is a very interesting character. He is one of such characters who can be freely cutten off the mainline comics and be better with it. So seeing a short film about him without any MCU stuff except for a bit Daredevil was fine, especially without the Fisk crap that honestly i am very irritated by, which is nice

The bad part is that this 40 minutes feel like a Punisher fan film, which from story perspective is good, but then i see the digi-double badly rendered seemingly in Blender under old Cycles engine or some other fan film quirks that are present here, i don’t understand why it is on Disney+, from other side it’s my only problem with it and it is covered by some solid action choreography and tons of fake flowing blood

Nicolas Cage plays Spiudr-Man like he’s in an adaptation of Franz Kafka’s “The Metamorphosis”, and overall, it’s exactly how I expected Nicolas Cage to play Spider-Man

Overall, it’s a decent series for a couple of evenings. Although, of course, it’s clear what kind of legal acrobatics the producers had to pull with names and lore to stay within the Sony’s license. Well, there was so little Spider-Man in the suit that I thought I was watching a Dick Tracy series
