JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run — Episode 1
JoJo 7 is out!!! And i love it! Seriously it was a perfect episode to start the best part of the series. If you have no idea what JoJo is, then watch this episode. You’ll not loose any context, this is a series reboot. But that’s a pity that other episodes will come out god knows then, to be fair we have a manga
Goddamnit Gyro Zeppeli is so cool i cannot give his coolness justice with text. He is the perfect combination of Clint Eastwood and avarage Shonen protagonist’s more interesting friend. And SPIN had been shown perfectly, i felt my limbs twist into a churro with the way this skill is shown
Johnny is the shitiest of Joestars at this point. But i understand that his ego is the point, this egoistical desire to get back to his normal self makes him the most interesting character in this part. He definetly doesn’t care about 50 pre-great depression dollars(add a couple zeros to the sum, because definetly Araki forgot™ that dollar’s value in 2000s was significantly lower then in 1890s due to inflation). The only interest of Johnny is healing his paralysis
And oh my god, the signature JoJo combat grade bullshit™ with horses is great. The honor to start the farce parade was given to reincarnated Dio-saurus :) and his way of evasion was great. And the way mr. Zeppeli used SPIN to get through the first stage of the race shows how exactly this new power system will use this two balls — with no real limits. I am scared to imagine how this will be even more limitless then Gyro get’s a Stand. And of cource Pokoloko’s happy-go-lucky tactic of getting from being late from this race to getting to the 3rd place is peak comedy. And of cource he was lucky enough to be the first stand user on this race
