And this will likely break Diana’s impressive 19-issue long optimism marathon, because sooner or later this fact will surface, and the question arises: who’s going to be more freaked out by this fact? Diana, from the shock, or the entire planet from betrayal?

The fight with Zatanna’s dad ended rather quickly, thanks to the use of a lasso called Troika. It’s essentially the good old Lasso of Truth, but to use it, you need to get inside someone’s head.

Then our beloved, incompetent Veronica Cale sent “Iron Maiden” after the elder Zatara. “Iron Maden” is a [robot/prison/torture chamber] that the world’s most beloved woman volunteered to fight

And then there was an attempt to kidnap Barbara. The success of this operation is unclear, but they most likely succeeded.

The arc’s finale promises to be wonderful :)
